Is a hunting license required?

Yes. Each hunter is responsible for obtaining all licenses, permits, stamps, and other requirements necessary to legally hunt waterfowl in Arkansas. Guests should verify current Arkansas and federal requirements before arrival.

What group sizes can First Due accommodate?

Group requirements vary by package. Guided duck hunts without lodging require a four-person minimum. Guided hunts with lodging require a two-person minimum. Our full-group package accommodates up to six hunters.

How long are guided hunt packages?

Our standard guided duck hunts have a three-day minimum. We also offer a five-day guided hunt package with lodging and no meals.

What should I bring?

Guests should arrive with appropriate hunting clothing, personal hunting equipment, required licenses and stamps, and any personal items needed for their stay. First Due will provide trip-specific recommendations based on weather, field conditions, and the hunt being planned.

Are decoys provided?

Yes. First Due provides the decoy spreads and field setup for guided hunts. Guests do not need to bring their own decoys unless arrangements have been made in advance.

Is lodging available?

Yes. Lodging is included with select guided-hunt packages and is also an amenity of club membership. Our $250-per-person-per-day guided duck hunt does not include lodging. Guests who want lodging should select one of our lodging-inclusive packages.

Are meals included?

No. Meals are not currently included with our published guided-hunt packages. Guests are responsible for their own meals unless otherwise arranged directly with First Due.

Do you offer afternoon hunts?

Yes. Afternoon goose hunts are available for $250 per person. Availability depends on season dates, conditions, and scheduling.

Are first-time waterfowl hunters welcome?

Absolutely. Experienced hunters and first-time waterfowlers are welcome. Our guides provide calling, coaching, retrieval assistance, and field support throughout the hunt.

Are youth hunters welcome?

Yes. First Due is built around a family-friendly hunting culture, and we welcome youth hunters. Parents or guardians should contact us when booking so we can help plan an appropriate experience and confirm applicable licensing and hunter-education requirements.

How do I check availability?

Contact First Due with your preferred dates, number of hunters, package you're interested in, and whether you need lodging. We will confirm availability and help determine the best option for your group.

How do deposits and cancellations work?

Deposits are non-refundable. At First Due's discretion, a deposit may be transferred to another available date. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a date change, but rescheduling is subject to availability and is not guaranteed.
